What You'll Do
- Conduct on-site investigations to assess building envelope conditions including facades, roofs, windows, and waterproofing systems
- Diagnose issues and develop repair strategies using field data, testing equipment, and technical research
- Prepare detailed reports, construction documents, and cost estimates
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout design and construction phases
- Perform construction site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality execution
- Participate in industry events and professional organizations to stay current and connected
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree required or Master's degree preferred in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering with a structural focus, or a related field
- Three to six years of experience in building envelope assessment, design, or restoration
- Licensure as an Architect or PE or SE is a plus or actively pursuing
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Familiarity with a range of envelope systems including masonry, curtainwall, roofing, and waterproofing
- Ability to work at heights and conduct physical site inspections
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working on scaffolding and elevated platforms
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform extended site visits
- Capable of both visual and instrument-based inspections
