The ideal candidate will be a skilled relationship builder, technical coach, and strategic partner to external sales reps, with a strong understanding of biological wastewater treatment processes and membrane technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with manufacturer's representative firms across assigned territories, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
  • Coach and mentor reps on the company's membrane product portfolio and system integration strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance during sales cycles, including support for proposal development, system sizing, and application-specific recommendations.
  • Collaborate with reps to develop strategic account plans, identify opportunities, and drive long-term growth in municipal markets.
  • Support reps in navigating complex municipal procurement processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and bid specifications.
  • Conduct training sessions, webinars, and site visits to enhance rep knowledge and confidence in presenting solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform sales strategy and product positioning.
  • Work closely with internal teams (engineering, marketing, and product development) to ensure rep feedback is incorporated into business planning.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build brand awareness and support rep engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in municipal water/wastewater treatment sales, preferably working with or for manufacturer's rep firms.
  • Strong understanding of biological wastewater treatment processes, including MBR, UF, and related technologies.
  • Proven ability to train, support, and motivate external sales partners.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and process modeling tools (e.g., BioWin or GPS-X) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally (up to 50%).

Why This Role?

  • Be part of a team driving innovation in municipal wastewater treatment.
  • Work with cutting-edge membrane technology that's reshaping the industry.
  • Collaborate with passionate professionals committed to environmental sustainability.
  • Competitive compensation, benefits, and opportunities for growth.
