Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in leading structural engineering projects while also serving as a client-facing representative of the firm. This individual will be responsible for managing project delivery, cultivating client relationships, and contributing to business development efforts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, leadership experience, and a passion for strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversees the full lifecycle of structural engineering projects, from concept through construction.
- Acts as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring clear communication and successful outcomes.
- Leads business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking.
- Provides technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Collaborates with architects, contractors, and consultants to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Ensures projects meet quality standards, budgets, and timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the U.S. structural engineering industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, RAM, RISA, Revit).
