Senior W/WW Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects in alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop risk-averse project scopes and fees.
  • Develop project-specific plans, including Project Management and Quality Management Plans.
  • Create and maintain project schedules.
  • Oversee and coordinate subconsultants.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and prepare extra work order requests and contract task proposals.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Participate in project financial status meetings.
  • Build client relationships to understand preferences and requirements for successful project execution.
  • Prepare progress reports and review invoices.
  • Lead project status meetings and presentations.
  • Support marketing efforts, including Go/No-Go decisions, proposal development, and interviews.
  • Coordinate technical resources within the project team to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members through check-ins and project debriefs.
  • Lead and manage team performance through goal setting, feedback, and continuous development.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, environmental, or chemical engineering or related field from an accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Experience delivering water and wastewater projects from design through construction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience

  • CAPM or PMP certification.
  • Experience with local clients at county and state levels.
  • Familiarity with multiple project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3).
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
