Role Overview
As a Structural Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of structural systems for a variety of building types. You'll work closely with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to bring architectural visions to life while ensuring structural integrity, code compliance, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop structural designs and calculations for new construction, renovations, and expansions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction.
- Prepare construction documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Perform site visits and respond to field conditions during construction.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
- Contribute to sustainable design practices and LEED-certified projects.
- Utilize BIM and 3D modeling tools to enhance design coordination and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- 3+ years of experience in structural engineering design.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software and Revit/BIM.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for creative problem-solving and continuous learning.
