About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a global organization seeking an experienced Accounting & Tax Manager to join its growing finance team in Japan.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting and tax matters for multiple entities and business operations.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Support statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance requirements.
- Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and cost allocations across multiple entities.
- Manage accounting and tax matters related to project and investment entities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, commercial, and operational functions.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, service providers, and investors.
- Support the implementation and improvement of accounting processes, controls, and reporting frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and Japanese tax regulations.
Requirements
Technical Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Experience working with IFRS and Japanese tax requirements.
- Experience managing multiple legal entities and complex transaction structures.
- Experience in external audit, public accounting, or corporate accounting environments is highly preferred.
- Manager-level experience with strong ownership and accountability.
