A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead field operations on a variety of infrastructure projects throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with experience in utilities, earthwork, site development, and roadway construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field operations and coordinate crews, equipment, and materials
- Lead work involving utilities, grading, earthwork, and site development
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to plan
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with Superintendents and Project Managers to maintain project schedules
- Enforce safety standards and quality control procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Foreman or Lead Operator in heavy civil construction
- Background in utilities, earthwork, site development, roadway, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- OSHA certification preferred
