A hospitality‑focused architecture and interiors firm known for large‑scale hotel, resort, spa, casino, and entertainment environments is seeking an Architect II/III to join its San Diego studio. The firm's portfolio includes extensive work across gaming and hospitality sectors and operates nationally with strong West Coast project reach.
Role Overview
The Architect II/III will support daily design development, technical documentation, and coordination on complex hospitality projects. This position may also lead small project teams and guide targeted design or technical workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to design development and detailing for hospitality projects such as hotels, casinos, and resort environments.
- Produce coordinated drawings, models, and documentation.
- Interface with internal teams and consultants to maintain design intent.
- Lead smaller teams or assigned packages as needed.
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect (or actively pursuing U.S. licensure).
- 6+ years of professional experience, ideally within hospitality, gaming, or large commercial project types.
- Strong design and technical skills; Revit proficiency preferred.
- Effective communicator with ability to manage tasks and mentor junior staff.
