About the Role

We are a growing, design-driven architecture firm in Baltimore seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead diverse projects across the Education, Hospitality, Retail, and Multifamily sectors. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on managing complex projects, building strong client relationships, and mentoring design teams.

You'll be responsible for overseeing projects from concept through construction, ensuring design excellence, technical accuracy, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of architectural projects, including planning, design, documentation, and construction administration.
  • Serve as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality, code-compliant designs.
  • Lead project scheduling, budgeting, and resource planning.
  • Review and approve construction documents, ensuring alignment with project goals and firm standards.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative, creative studio culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Licensed Architect preferred (or actively pursuing licensure).
  • 7+ years of professional experience, with a strong portfolio in at least two of the following: education, hospitality, retail, or multifamily housing.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of BIM workflows is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with local zoning and permitting processes in Maryland.
  • LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices.
  • Experience with client presentations and public engagement.
