Due to continued expansion across New York, they are seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive growth throughout the Hudson Valley, Eastern New York, Albany, and New York City markets.

What You'll Lead
This is not a traditional sales role.
You will act as a trusted advisor to owners, developers, engineers, and contractors while helping clients solve complex construction and geotechnical challenges.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and strengthening relationships with developers, consulting engineers, owners, and contractors.
- Identifying and developing new project opportunities throughout New York.
- Meeting clients on-site to understand challenges and recommend technical solutions.
- Working closely with engineering and operations teams to determine project feasibility and delivery strategies.
- Supporting opportunities from initial engagement through award and project execution.
- Representing the business at industry events, client meetings, and networking functions.
- Expanding market presence and developing long-term strategic client relationships.
- Collaborating with internal teams to support proposals, presentations, and project pursuits.
What You Bring
- 8-10+ years of experience within geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, foundations, construction, or related industries.
- Strong client-facing and relationship-building abilities.
- Understanding of design, engineering, and construction project lifecycles.
- Experience leading meetings, presenting solutions, and influencing project decisions.
- Existing relationships and industry network throughout the Hudson Valley, Albany, Eastern New York, or NYC markets.
- Commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Desire to move beyond purely technical work and play a larger role in business growth and client development.
