Associate Energy Advisor
Overview
Associate Energy Advisors are responsible for developing new business and maintaining their clientele's energy strategy after the initial sale.
Responsibilities include owning the entire sales process from lead generation through close, as well as maintaining ongoing client relationships. This role is primarily an inside sales position, with approximately 80% of time spent in the office and 20% spent outside the office attending client meetings and industry events. This is a full-time position, with advisors expected to work 40 hours per week over five days in the office and reach out to approximately 50+ prospective clients per day.

You understand that the energy industry is constantly evolving and requires a resilient, "no-quit" mentality. You enjoy developing creative solutions to the dynamic challenges clients face daily, and you are known as a strong communicator who takes ownership of getting deals across the finish line.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling electricity and natural gas in PJM is preferred
- Sales experience
- Cold calling experience
- Proven success overcoming rejection and failure
- Ability to conduct in-depth discovery conversations to identify opportunities and pain points
- Ability to execute a sales strategy from lead generation through close
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
