Compensation: $140,000 - $180,000 base + guarenteed year one bonus + comprehensive benefits

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Associate or Associate Director (title and compensation commensurate with experience) to join the Investment & Acquisitions team. This individual will play a key role in strategy development, market analysis, M&A transactions, and financing activities, supporting all aspects of the client's business growth.
What You'll Do
- Build and review financial models to support investment decisions, focusing on project returns, capital structure optimization, risk assessment, and upside potential.
- Present analytical findings clearly and concisely to senior management.
- Lead due diligence processes and manage third-party deliverables throughout deal execution.
- Support transaction leads in negotiating documentation for debt and tax equity financings, acquisitions, and opportunistic sales.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, including new market identification and portfolio optimization.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree or MBA a plus.
- Associate level: Minimum 2 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, project finance, or similar roles.
- Strong financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required).
- Demonstrated academic and professional achievement, organizational acumen, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in a small, dynamic team environment.
- Prior experience or interest in renewable energy projects and U.S. electricity markets preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 (commensurate with experience).
- Bonus: Year-end bonus guaranteed in the first year.
