About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Project Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of audio production for high-profile live events. This position plays a critical role in ensuring exceptional sound quality and seamless audio experiences for audiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in professional audio systems, outstanding organizational and leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects from initial concept through successful execution.

As an Audio Project Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for all audio-related elements, working closely with clients, production teams, and technical vendors to deliver world-class results. This is a dynamic role that requires adaptability, problem-solving under pressure, and a passion for excellence in live event production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and manage all audio aspects of live events, including pre-production, setup, and on-site execution.
  • Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand audio requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Technical Oversight: Ensure proper design and implementation of audio systems, including signal flow, mixing consoles, and wireless coordination.
  • Resource Management: Develop and maintain detailed project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • On-Site Supervision: Lead and supervise audio crews during events, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide real-time technical solutions during live events to minimize disruptions and maintain performance integrity.
  • Inventory & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of audio equipment, update inventory systems, and ensure all documentation is current.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in audio production for live events, preferably in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of professional audio systems, signal flow, and industry-standard mixing consoles (e.g., Yamaha, DiGiCo, Avid).
  • Familiarity with RF coordination and wireless microphone systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
