Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated BAS Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of building automation projects across commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities in Colorado. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC controls, energy management systems, and project leadership, with a passion for delivering high-performance smart building solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of BAS projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, field technicians, sales) and external stakeholders (clients, contractors, vendors).
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Oversee installation, programming, and commissioning of BAS systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and client specifications.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues proactively.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare regular status reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in BAS or HVAC controls project management.
  • Proficiency with BAS platforms such as Tridium Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical schematics, and control sequences.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Colorado building codes and energy efficiency standards is preferred.
