Bridge Engineer | NJDOT Experience

Seller-Doer Focus: Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver bridge projects while developing client relationships and helping win new work with NJDOT, NJTA, counties, and municipalities.
Responsibilities
- Lead bridge design and rehabilitation projects.
- Prepare bridge plans, calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
- Manage NJDOT bridge projects from design through construction support.
- Serve as a primary client contact and maintain relationships with NJDOT and other transportation agencies.
- Support business development efforts and help secure new projects.
- Prepare scopes of work and fee proposals.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- PE license required.
- 10+ years of bridge engineering experience.
- NJDOT bridge design experience required.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO and NJDOT design standards.
- Experience with bridge design, rehabilitation, inspections, and load ratings.
- Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenBridge and structural analysis software.
- Strong project management, communication, and technical writing skills.
