A well‑established, highly respected building enclosure consulting firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing Austin‑based team. With decades of success delivering exterior building envelope solutions across education, municipal, commercial, corporate, and sports facilities, this firm is known for technical excellence, collaborative delivery, and long‑term client partnerships.

This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful, technically complex projects that protect and enhance high‑value buildings while working closely with senior leadership and developing into a client‑facing executive role over time.

The Role

The Project Manager will maintain a comprehensive understanding of building assessment and enclosure requirements, including forensic investigation, documentation, commissioning, and asset management reporting. You will support and coordinate both internal teams and external consultants while overseeing projects from assessment through construction.

This position blends technical leadership, field oversight, and client interaction in a collaborative consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead building enclosure assessments, investigations, and technical documentation
  • Develop and apply Owner Project Requirements while adhering to client standards
  • Oversee construction phase services and contract implementation in the field
  • Review and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP construction documents
  • Identify, document, and resolve deficiencies within contract documents
  • Stay current with building enclosure testing standards such as AAMA and ASTM
  • Apply relevant codes and standards throughout project documentation
  • Support proposal development, contracts, and RFP/RFQ responses
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants, technicians, contractors, and client executives
  • Cross‑train with senior leadership and support long‑term client relationship management

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in building envelope consulting, architectural or engineering documentation, or oversight of enclosure installation
  • Strong experience managing and producing building enclosure documentation
  • Familiarity with contract language and the RFP/RFQ process
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong client‑service mindset with a professional presence
  • Knowledge of OSHA certification requirements or willingness to obtain certification
  • Ability to travel within the regional Texas market
  • Physical ability to access construction sites, climb ladders, work at heights over 10 feet, and lift 30+ pounds

What Sets You Apart

  • Registered Roofing / Building Enclosure certification (RBEC or similar)
  • Experience performing or supporting AAMA or ASTM field testing
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, Autodesk, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
