This role offers full autonomy to drive technical excellence, business growth, and strategic leadership, with direct access to senior decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment and growth of a new geotechnical engineering office
- Define and develop sector focus areas based on expertise and market opportunities
- Oversee geotechnical investigations, design, and analysis for major projects
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering staff
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions
- Represent the company in client meetings, industry forums, and technical panels
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience in geotechnical engineering, ideally in a senior or chief engineer capacity
- Proven ability to lead teams and grow technical practices
- Expertise in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability, and ground improvement
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
- Based in or willing to relocate to New Jersey
