A fast-growing, design-forward civil engineering firm is looking to bring on a Civil Project Manager to help expand its presence in the Denver land development market. This role is critical to both project delivery and business growth, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining client relationships across the region.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Manage land development projects from due diligence through design, entitlement, and construction
- Oversee preparation of:
- Grading, drainage, and utility plans
- Site layout and horizontal design
- Stormwater management and permitting packages
- Coordinate across internal disciplines and subconsultants
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
Business Development
- Leverage existing relationships with:
- Developers
- Homebuilders
- Architects
- Local municipalities and agencies
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities in the Denver market
- Lead or support proposals, fee development, and client presentations
- Represent the firm at industry events, networking groups, and client meetings
- Build long-term partnerships that translate into repeat work
Leadership
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers
- Provide technical oversight and QA/QC on deliverables
- Contribute to team growth, hiring, and overall office strategy
Qualifications
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- PE license required
- 6-12+ years of experience in civil land development
- Proven experience managing projects in the Denver market
- Established network of local clients and industry contacts
- Strong understanding of:
- Entitlement and permitting processes in Colorado
- Local agency standards and expectations
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Track record of both project delivery and client development
Project Exposure
- Residential subdivisions and master-planned communities
- Mixed-use and commercial developments
- Urban infill and redevelopment projects
- Industrial and logistics developments
