The Commissioning Authority will be responsible for:
- Conducting field functional testing and creating pre-functional and functional checklists
- Leading commissioning meetings and managing the commissioning process for assigned projects
- Performing field observations to assess system functionality and compliance
- Documenting test results, maintaining issue resolution logs, and preparing commissioning reports
- Coordinating with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes
The Commissioning Authority should have the following:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of industry experience; PE license or commissioning certifications preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, controls, and instrumentation
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to travel as needed and work on job sites for extended periods
