The Commissioning Specialist will be responsible for:
- Creating commissioning plans and performing design reviews
- Preparing job progress reports and conducting pre-functional and functional performance testing
- Assisting with project close-out and preparing final commissioning reports
- Working independently on smaller projects and supporting larger, complex projects under guidance
- Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and design development processes
The Commissioning Specialist should have the following:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP design, construction administration, commissioning, or related fields
- Knowledge of building automation, HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm/life safety, lighting controls, and emergency power systems
- Commissioning certification preferred (ACG CxT or CxA, or equivalent)
- Associates or bachelor's degree preferred; LEED accreditation a plus
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
