Job Description:
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) to oversee the execution of our renewable energy projects in Auckland. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the construction phase of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and other sustainable energy installations.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project timelines and financial constraints.
- Oversee site activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and quality, addressing any issues promptly.
- Manage procurement processes, including the selection and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong background in EPC project delivery, with a proven ability to manage complex construction projects.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
