The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the team. This role is critical to the successful completion of a multi-million-dollar state-of-the-art federal prison. The ideal candidate will take responsibility for the overall direction, completion and financial outcome of the project.
Key responsibilities of the Construction Project Manager - Federal Prison include:
- Manage project lifecycle from preconstruction through delivery. Works closely with scheduling teams, the superintendent, subcontractors, and suppliers to build a comprehensive construction schedule.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Establishes a project organization and responsibilities matrix at project kickoff and identifies all required resources, including personnel, tools, equipment, materials.
- Reviews contract documents with all project stakeholders (customers, employees, subcontractors, suppliers, regulators, and utilities) to ensure the work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinates and provides all necessary information and requirements to subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they can meet project deadlines.
Key requirements of the Construction Project Manager - Federal Prison include:
- Large-scale federal or commercial construction expertise.
- Extensive track record in successful ground-up construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
- Experience utilizing project management software, such as Constructware, P6 and Timberline).
