Construction Project Manager (Water/Wastewater)
A leading heavy civil and water/wastewater contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the Atlanta area. Responsibilities
- Manage water/wastewater construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and project forecasting.
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Review and approve subcontractor payments, procurement activities, and project documentation.
- Support business development efforts and assist with project pursuits when needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Project Management experience on water/wastewater construction projects.
- Direct experience managing pump stations, lift stations, force mains, or related utility infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of municipal construction contracts and project delivery methods.
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
- Knowledge of construction software such as Procore, Viewpoint, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
