About the Organisation
Role Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations across projects, service, and commissioning teams
- Manage regional delivery performance including scheduling, resourcing, and quality assurance
- Own financial performance of the division, including P&L accountability, revenue tracking, and cost control
- Develop and mentor team leads, project managers, and engineers
- Strengthen client relationships and support business development activity where required
- Ensure projects meet contractual, technical, and safety requirements
- Drive process improvements across delivery, reporting, and project lifecycle management
- Coordinate with senior leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and growth planning
- Oversee subcontractors and vendor performance
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management within the team
Required Experience and Skills
- 10+ years' experience within building automation or HVAC controls
- Proven management experience leading operations, projects, or service teams
- Strong financial literacy including P&L management, revenue forecasting, and margin control
- Solid technical understanding of BMS/BAS systems and HVAC controls
- Experience delivering projects in commercial, healthcare, life sciences, or similar sectors
- Strong communication and leadership capability across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to balance operational delivery with commercial objectives
Additional or Desirable Experience
- Experience scaling or improving operational processes within a controls business
- Exposure to multi-site or regional team management
- Background in both project delivery and service operations
- Familiarity with contract negotiation or commercial frameworks
Location, Travel, and Working Pattern
Greater Boston area. Some regional travel may be required based on project and client needs.
