About the Role
We are looking for a Data Centre Technician to support the operation and maintenance of a mission-critical facility in Munich. You'll help ensure maximum uptime by maintaining critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure while supporting day-to-day data centre operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure systems.
- Support UPS, generators, HV/LV systems, cooling equipment, fire and security systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and basic fault-finding.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and service requests.
- Assist with equipment installations, moves, and decommissions.
- Monitor BMS/DCIM systems and environmental conditions.
- Maintain accurate reports, logs, and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures.
- Coordinate with contractors and third-party vendors.
- Participate in an on-call rota when required.
Requirements
- Experience in a data centre, critical facility, industrial, or technical maintenance environment.
- Electrical or mechanical background.
- Understanding of critical power and cooling systems.
- Familiarity with BMS and/or DCIM platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
