Director of Business Development
A nationally recognized, employee-owned design-build construction firm is seeking a Director of Business Development to help drive growth across the Cincinnati market and beyond.

This position will focus on developing strategic relationships, identifying new business opportunities, increasing market presence, and helping shape the firm's long-term growth strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership, operations, project management, and marketing teams to drive revenue growth and expand the company's footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, brokers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand market presence within targeted sectors.
- Research and analyze market trends, economic drivers, and emerging opportunities.
- Support the development and execution of regional and national business development strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade associations, and networking functions.
- Coordinate proposal and pursuit efforts alongside operational and marketing teams.
- Travel as needed to support client development and project pursuits.
Requirements
- Proven success in construction business development, sales, or client relationship management.
- Strong understanding of the AEC industry and project delivery process.
- Experience building relationships that lead to new project opportunities.
- Commercially minded with strong communication, networking, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining actively involved in winning work.
