A well-established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Paving Superintendent to oversee asphalt paving operations on roadway, infrastructure, and site development projects. This role is ideal for a strong field leader with experience managing crews, production, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily asphalt paving operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity
- Manage paving crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Coordinate project schedules and production goals with project management teams
- Ensure paving work is completed according to plans and specifications
- Monitor quality control and enforce jobsite safety standards
- Communicate with project stakeholders, inspectors, and field personnel
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Foreman in asphalt paving or heavy civil construction
- Strong background in asphalt paving, roadway construction, or site development
- Experience managing paving crews and heavy equipment
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- OSHA certification preferred
