Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Director of Scheduling to lead project scheduling and subcontractor coordination for major construction projects. This role ensures timelines are met and teams stay aligned from planning through execution. PREFERRED LOCATIONS FOR THIS JOB ARE AUSTIN, TX OR ORANGE COUNTY, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
- Use tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project to monitor progress and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain workflow and accountability.
- Prepare reports and track KPIs for schedule accuracy and subcontractor performance.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project).
- Strong knowledge of subcontractor management and construction contracts.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (required); Master's preferred.
- 12+ years in project scheduling and subcontractor management within GC or EPC industries.
- Proven success managing complex schedules for large projects.
