Drainage Project Engineer

Known for its collaborative culture and commitment to technical excellence, the firm continues to build strong client relationships and deliver innovative, high-quality results across a range of public and private sector projects.
To support its continued growth, the firm is seeking a Drainage Project Engineer to take the lead on key transportation drainage projects and contribute to the success of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Phase I and II drainage analysis and design efforts
- Assist with proposals, scope development, and client interviews
- Provide QA/QC oversight and mentor junior staff
- Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering
- 4+ years of relevant experience in roadway and infrastructure design
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Illinois
- Experience with drainage-related permitting (USACE, IDNR-OWR, etc.)
- Proficiency in MicroStation/Geopak, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, StormCAD, HY-8
- Familiarity with Illinois DOT work flows and standards
