Electrical Engineering Manager
Leadership & Project Management
- Plan, organize, and manage electrical and control systems aspects of complex projects.
- Oversee design teams, ensuring quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Allocate resources, manage design hours, and control costs within project constraints.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure timely communication of deliverables, schedule updates, and technical issues to stakeholders.
Technical Oversight
- Direct development of electrical and control system drawings, bills of materials, and documentation.
- Supervise programming and integration of PLC systems (Siemens S7-1200, Allen Bradley ControlLogix) and HMI interfaces.
- Provide guidance on equipment selection, specification, and evaluation for procurement.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (OSHA, NFPA, NEC, IEC, UL, CSA, ANSI, API, CE, ATEX, Class I Div 1 & 2).
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimization of water treatment and industrial systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in electrical/control systems engineering, including leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in PLC programming (Siemens and Allen Bradley) and industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
