Electrical/Mechanical Commissioning Manager (Contract, Microsoft DC, Relocation)
Position Overview
Lead the commissioning of data center projects in Jakarta, ensuring critical infrastructure systems meet stringent standards for reliability, safety, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage commissioning processes, documentation, and compliance with evolving best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full commissioning lifecycle from vendor onboarding and design review to testing, closeout, and handover.
- Conduct technical due diligence, organize commissioning workshops, and lead factory/site acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain commissioning procedures, ensure safety and quality standards, and report on progress, issues, and KPIs.
- Lead commissioning meetings, integrate lessons learned, and manage scope, schedule, and budget for commissioning activities.
- Perform regular site inspections and ensure proper use of commissioning management systems by all team members.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven ability to manage all levels of commissioning.
- 6+ years of experience in data center commissioning, facility maintenance, or operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems, including UPS, chillers, AHUs, and control systems.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Skilled in developing commissioning plans and test scripts, with strong communication and project management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and other relevant IT tools.
