Position Overview
- Play a key role in the design and delivery of fire protection and plumbing systems
- Work across the full project lifecycle, from design through construction administration
- Operate with limited supervision while collaborating with senior engineers and project teams

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Design & Documentation
- Lead intermediate to advanced fire protection and plumbing system design
- Perform hydraulic calculations and system analysis
- Develop construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Prepare and review specifications and sequences of operation
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and best practices
Pre-Construction
- Conduct site assessments and evaluate existing building conditions
- Prepare technical reports and design documentation
- Gather data to support the development of construction documents
Construction Administration
- Collaborate closely with project managers and clients
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and RFIs
- Participate in punch lists and project closeout activities
- Serve as a technical point of contact on projects
Project Coordination & Reporting
- Track project progress and deliverables
- Maintain RFI logs and document control
- Manage workload to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
Technology & Innovation
- Utilize AI-enabled and digital tools to improve efficiency
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows
- Support adoption of new technologies and digital processes
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of:
- Plumbing and fire protection system design
- Applicable codes and standards
- Hydraulic calculations
- Proficiency in:
- Revit and AutoCAD
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to:
- Work independently in a remote environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work
- Interest in leveraging technology and innovation to improve performance
Work Environment & Travel
- Fully remote role requiring strong self-motivation and organization
