About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and driven Geotechnical Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of major civil infrastructure projects across Singapore. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation in geotechnical engineering and a passion for solving complex ground engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical investigations and site assessments for infrastructure projects including roads, rail, tunnels, and buildings.
- Perform geotechnical analysis and design of foundations, retaining structures, slopes, and ground improvement solutions.
- Interpret soil and rock data, laboratory test results, and geophysical surveys.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, design documentation, and construction specifications.
- Collaborate with civil, structural, and environmental engineers to integrate geotechnical solutions into broader project designs.
- Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections and resolving ground-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; a Master's degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- +5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in Singapore or Southeast Asia.
- Strong understanding of local ground conditions, soil mechanics, and geotechnical design practices.
- Familiarity with LTA, BCA, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in geotechnical software such as PLAXIS, GeoStudio, Settle3, or similar.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
