Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team in St. Louis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in geotechnical principles and a passion for delivering innovative solutions for infrastructure and development projects. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide technical expertise in soil mechanics, foundation design, and site investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct geotechnical investigations, including soil sampling, laboratory testing, and analysis.
- Prepare geotechnical reports, design recommendations, and technical documentation.
- Perform slope stability, settlement, and bearing capacity analyses.
- Collaborate with civil and structural engineers on foundation and earthwork design.
- Provide construction support and review geotechnical aspects during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
- Certification:
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) required
- PE (Professional Engineer) license preferred
- 3+ years of geotechnical engineering experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
