Position: Heavy Civil Estimator
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for heavy civil projects, including sitework, utilities, grading, and concrete
* Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate bids
* Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing
* Conduct quantity take-offs and review subcontractor and supplier quotes
* Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed
* Maintain accurate records of estimates and proposals
Qualifications
* Proven experience in heavy civil estimating, preferably with sitework and utility projects
* Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards
* Proficiency in estimating software (Agtek experience is a plus)
* Excellent analytical and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external partners
