HV Estimator
Salary: $130,000 - $170,000 DOE
A leading electrical EPC contractor is seeking a Senior High Voltage Estimator to join their growing preconstruction team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on large-scale, technically complex utility-grade substation and transmission line projects, often supporting mission-critical infrastructure such as hyperscale data centers.
· Leading full-cycle estimating for HV substations and transmission lines
· Performing quantity takeoffs, vendor/subcontractor analysis, and cost modeling
· Reviewing drawings/specs to define scope, risks, and pricing strategy
· Collaborating with engineering teams on design and constructability
· Identifying value engineering opportunities
· Mentoring junior estimators and supporting bid reviews
· 8-15+ years of high voltage EPC estimating experience
· Proven experience in BOTH substation and transmission line estimating (required)
· Strong background in utility-scale infrastructure (not just renewables)
· Experience with complex, redundancy-driven substation designs
· Background with leading contractors (e.g., PAR, Dashiell, Michels, or similar) preferred
· Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
· Fully remote work environment
