Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Land Development Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, site design, and project management. This role involves working on a variety of land development projects, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and permitting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage civil engineering aspects of land development projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, roadways, and utilities.

  • Prepare construction documents, engineering reports, and technical analyses.

  • Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to support project planning.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Assist in obtaining permits and approvals from governing authorities.

  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software for design and documentation.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, planners, and environmental consultants.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in land development, civil site design, or related projects.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software.

  • Strong understanding of stormwater management, grading, and utility design.

  • Experience with permitting processes in Florida is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
