The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead land development projects from planning and design through permitting and construction while supporting client growth initiatives and mentoring junior staff.

This role is ideal for someone looking to move beyond pure project delivery and take a more active role in client development, business strategy, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage land development projects through all phases of design and delivery
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client expectations
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate project execution
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, municipalities, and project stakeholders
  • Support business development, proposal preparation, and client engagement efforts
  • Mentor engineers, project managers, and technical staff
  • Coordinate permitting efforts and regulatory approvals
  • Provide technical oversight and quality control of project deliverables
  • Contribute to strategic planning and office growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Significant experience managing land development projects within a consulting environment
  • Strong understanding of site development, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater, and permitting
  • Proven ability to manage clients, project teams, and financial performance
  • Experience supporting business development and client relationship management
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
