Associate Director / Manager - Environmental Transactions & Due Diligence
Location: Hong Kong
We're partnering with a leading international advisory and consulting business to appoint an experienced environmental transactions professional to support a growing pipeline of M&A, infrastructure, energy, real estate and private equity transactions across Asia.
This is an opportunity to work closely with investors, private equity funds, infrastructure funds, lenders and corporate clients, providing environmental due diligence and transaction support on high-value acquisitions and investments.
Responsibilities
- Lead environmental due diligence assignments for M&A and investment transactions.
- Advise private equity, infrastructure, real estate and corporate clients on environmental risks and liabilities associated with acquisitions.
- Manage environmental due diligence reports and provide clear recommendations to investment and deal teams.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary specialists to deliver transaction support across environmental, ESG and sustainability workstreams.
- Support clients through buy-side and sell-side transactions, refinancing and portfolio reviews.
- Present findings directly to senior stakeholders, investors and transaction teams.
- Contribute to business development, proposal preparation and client relationship management.
- Mentor and support junior team members across project delivery.
Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in environmental due diligence, transaction advisory, ESG due diligence or related consulting.
- Proven experience supporting transactions for private equity, infrastructure, real estate or corporate clients.
- Strong understanding of environmental liabilities, risk assessment and transaction processes.
- Comfortable engaging directly with investment professionals, lenders and senior decision-makers.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience delivering work across Asia would be advantageous.
