Position Overview

The Service Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships while growing service agreement revenue, repair work, and project opportunities throughout the Central Texas market.

This role is ideal for an individual with a strong HVAC service background who enjoys working directly with customers, identifying opportunities, and serving as a trusted advisor. The Service Account Manager will partner closely with Service Technicians, Operations, and Service Leadership to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of existing service accounts throughout the Austin market.
  • Develop new business opportunities within commercial and industrial facilities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with facility managers, property managers, building owners, and contractors.
  • Generate maintenance agreements, repair proposals, retrofit opportunities, and replacement projects.
  • Conduct site visits and customer meetings to identify service needs and recommend solutions.
  • Review service inspections and technician findings to develop repair and upgrade proposals.
  • Prepare pricing, proposals, and presentations for customers.
  • Work closely with Service Technicians and Operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales and revenue goals.
  • Track customer activity, pipeline opportunities, and forecasts through the company's CRM platform.
  • Support customer retention efforts and contract renewals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in HVAC service sales, account management, estimating, or operations.
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and maintenance programs.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Experience selling service agreements, repairs, retrofits, or capital equipment replacements.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Preferred Experience

  • Commercial mechanical contractor background.
  • Existing relationships within the Austin commercial construction or facility management market.
  • Experience working with office buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, education, data centers, or mission-critical environments.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, controls, and broader mechanical service offerings.
