Salary: $160,000 - $200,000 (DOE)
Location: Texas (Daily Travel to Project Sites Required)

About the Company
Our client is a leading general contractor with a robust and growing pipeline of mission‑critical construction projects across Texas. With multiple data center projects scheduled and ongoing, they are expanding their team and seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to support delivery of large‑scale, technical builds within the region.

Position Overview
As the MEP Construction Manager, you will oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing scopes on complex data center construction projects. This role requires consistent on‑site presence and close collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful execution of MEP systems from preconstruction through commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all MEP trades throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead site activities including installation oversight, inspections, and quality assurance.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Identify and manage risks relating to MEP systems, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Work closely with internal project management teams to maintain schedules and budgets.
  • Support commissioning activities and ensure systems are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for MEP‑related matters with owners and stakeholders.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of MEP construction experience, ideally with large‑scale, complex builds.
  • Minimum 5 years of data center construction experience - this is essential.
  • Strong understanding of mission‑critical mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate multiple subcontractors on fast‑paced projects.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites daily.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary $160,000 - $200,000, depending on experience.
