A leading nationwide general contractor is looking to bring on an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment projects in the Gresham, OR area.
This is an opportunity to join a highly reputable builder with a strong backlog of municipal infrastructure work, offering long-term stability, career growth, and exposure to large-scale treatment plant and process-driven construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead full lifecycle management of water/wastewater treatment plant projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee budgeting, cost control, and schedule management to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field teams while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Serve as the primary point of contact with owners, engineers, and stakeholders
- Coordinate with design teams on constructability, procurement, and value engineering initiatives
- Lead project meetings, reporting, and documentation (RFIs, change orders, submittals, etc.)
- Ensure work is executed in compliance with project specifications and operating plant conditions
Experience Needed
- 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater construction
- Background delivering projects within active treatment plant environments preferred
- Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and schedules on complex infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with design-build, CM/GC, or alternative delivery methods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of water/wastewater processes, utilities, and plant construction
- Proficiency in project management software (Primavera, Procore, etc.)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project scopes
