Payroll Specialist

The Role

You'll take ownership of payroll processing and support HR/Finance in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Handle payroll taxes, deductions, benefits, and reconciliations
• Prepare payroll reports and assist with month-end close activities
• Partner with HR and Finance to resolve payroll discrepancies
• Support audits and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and systems

Requirements

• 2+ years of payroll experience
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance
• Experience with payroll systems (ADP, Workday, UKG, or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
