A pioneering subsea cable manufacturer, established through a strategic joint venture between a prominent Taiwanese cable conglomerate and a global offshore-cable leader. This company operates Taiwan's first submarine cable factory located in Kaohsiung Port's newly developed terminal. It specializes in high-voltage HVAC submarine cables for offshore wind farms, with full production set to begin in 2027.


📝 Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the central PMO point of contact, ensuring consistency in project planning, governance, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource trackers across submarine cable manufacturing and infrastructure initiatives.
  • Monitor project performance, including timelines, budgets, milestones, KPIs, and flagging risks or delays.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among engineering, procurement, testing, QA/QC, logistics, suppliers (including the JV partner), and external contractors.
  • Prepare and consolidate weekly/monthly PMO reports in both Mandarin and English, targeting senior leadership and external partners.
  • Implement and standardize PMO methodologies, templates, and lessons-learned archives.
  • Support budget monitoring, invoice tracking, and expense reconciliation across cable and infrastructure projects.
  • Assist with project governance frameworks, ensuring strict compliance with internal and JV partner (denmark-based) standards.
  • Coordinate project documentation, issue logs, decision logs, and change control registers.
  • Organize and document PMO governance meetings and follow up on action items diligently.

🎯 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of PMO or Project Control experience-preferably in subsea cable, offshore wind, energy, construction, or heavy industrial settings.
  • Proven bilingual communication skills (Mandarin and English); strong reporting and presentation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with PMO tools such as MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and PPM systems.
  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent PM certification is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to work in a dynamic, multinational environment.
