Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pre-sales Solutions Architect to join a high-impact regional team. This newly created role will support sales and solutioning efforts across the APAC region, with a focus on hyperscale, enterprise, and AI infrastructure clients.
This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is looking to build a legacy in the data center space.
Key Responsibilities
Client-Facing Solution Design:
Lead the technical design and architecture of data center solutions for hyperscale and enterprise clients, including AI factory workloads and next-gen cooling technologies.Pre-sales Engagement:
Serve as the technical lead during the sales cycle, translating client needs into scalable, efficient, and future-ready infrastructure solutions.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with sales, engineering, operations, and executive teams to align solutions with business strategy and client expectations.Regional Project Exposure:
Support projects across Australia, New Zealand, and the broader APAC region. Expect ~20% interstate travel for client and site engagements.Innovation & Thought Leadership:
Stay ahead of industry trends in hyperscale architecture, AI workloads, and sustainability. Bring fresh perspectives to a dynamic, high-growth business.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or technical consulting within data centers, telecom, or cloud infrastructure.
- Strong exposure to hyperscale environments and enterprise-grade solutions.
- Familiarity with AI infrastructure, liquid cooling, and modern data center design.
Background:
- Experience with both operators and consulting firms is highly valued.
- Understanding of Tier-based design and capacity planning from both client and operator perspectives.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a lean, startup-like environment.
- Strong technical documentation and proposal development capabilities.
