A rapidly growing national construction firm is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to join its growing team in Dallas. The Preconstruction Manager will lead and manage the entire preconstruction and bidding process for the company's growing Texas operations.
Key responsibilities of the Preconstruction Manager include:
- Lead and manage the full preconstruction lifecycle for commercial construction opportunities
- Oversee and maintain the regional bid board and pursuit pipeline.
- Review project opportunities and determine strategic go/no-go decisions.
- Coordinate estimating, proposal development, budgeting, and value engineering efforts.
- Identify and pursue opportunities with both existing and new third-party clients.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful project handoff after award.
Key requirements of the Preconstruction Manager include:
- A strong estimating, or preconstruction experience.
- General Contractor experience strongly preferred.
- A hands-on understanding of large-scale concrete or structural projects.
- Strong understanding of conceptual estimating, budgeting, constructability, and procurement.
- Proven client-facing and relationship-building experience.
