Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow the Los Angeles office, including team development, client relationship management, and financial performance.
  • Oversee and execute complex tunneling and trenchless engineering projects, including feasibility studies, geotechnical investigations, and design of underground structures.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and ensure high‑quality technical delivery.
  • Drive business development efforts by expanding existing client relationships and cultivating new ones within transportation, water/wastewater, energy, and municipal markets.
  • Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and oversight to junior and mid‑level engineers.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, client meetings, and professional associations.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience, with a strong background in tunnel or trenchless design, construction, or consulting.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) required; GE license or the ability to obtain it is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management and client-facing roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop business, and manage operations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision‑making skills.
  • Familiarity with Southern California geotechnical conditions and infrastructure markets preferred.
