A growing heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure projects throughout Northern Virginia. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in municipal utility construction and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage water and wastewater projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and procurement
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams
- Track project costs, change orders, and overall project performance
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Interface with owners, inspectors, engineers, and project stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Strong background in water, wastewater, underground utilities, or infrastructure projects
- Experience with municipal projects preferred
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
