Position Summary

The Product Engineer - Digital Expert will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering cutting-edge digital products and solutions. This role exists to bridge the gap between engineering, data, and customer-centric innovation, ensuring that digital platforms meet evolving market needs.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software engineers, data scientists, project managers, and external stakeholders to drive product development from concept through to deployment and lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop digital product solutions aligned with business and customer requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications and technical architecture
Drive product lifecycle management, including roadmap planning, testing, release, and iteration
Support integration of digital technologies such as IoT, AI/ML, cloud platforms, and data analytics
Conduct technical analysis, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations
Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical deliverables
Ensure compliance with quality standards, cybersecurity policies, and industry regulations
Troubleshoot product issues and provide continuous improvement through feedback loops
Contribute to innovation initiatives and identify opportunities for digital transformation

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
Proven experience in product engineering, digital solutions, or software development environments
Strong understanding of digital technologies (e.g., cloud computing, IoT, AI/ML, big data platforms)
Experience with product lifecycle management and agile methodologies
Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++ or similar) is advantageous
Knowledge of system integration and architecture design
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment
Business-level English and Japanese required
