Professional Land Surveyor
A well-established and innovative civil engineering and land surveying firm in the Midwest is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor for a managerial role within its growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of survey-related projects using the latest advancements in technology, including laser scanning, robotics, GPS systems, and drone technology.
Responsibilites:
- Lead and manage field operations for diverse projects such as topographic surveys, subdivision development, transportation infrastructure, bridge construction, architectural site planning, and construction layout
- Mentor and train Survey Interns in modern surveying techniques, including robotic instruments, laser scanning, GIS systems, and precision measurement tools
- Prepare and review survey plats, topographic maps, boundary surveys, and related documentation
Qualifications:
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Illinois
- Experience in ALTA/NSPS Land Title SUrveys, boundary, & topographic surveys
- Proficient in AutoCAD software
- 10+ years of surveying experience
